Pena

Saat pena ini menggoreskan sebuah kata,
ia menari di atas lembaran kosong,
ia seolah mengisyaratkan sesuatu,
tapi sangat sulit untuk mengetahuinya

Sebuah pena indah,
yang selalu ku pandang sempurna,
walau ada sedikit kecacatan,
tapi tak pernah kupermasalahkan

Pena ini bagai sosok indah,

Hati ini telah  berbisik
Jauh hari sebelum aku mengenalmu

Hati ini..
Bagai perahu tua,
yang terombang-ambing dalam ombak,
yang sering hancur karna karam tandas
Hati ini tak pernah nampak indah,
hati ini pun,
tak pernah diterima baik oleh siapa pun

Bagai perahu tua yang terombang-ambing,
hati ini tak tahu akan berlabuh
Bagai perahu tua yang sering hancur karena karam tandas,
hati ini pun sering terluka,
saat bertemu hati yang lain
Hati yang dilihatnya sempurna,
tapi tak pernah menerimanya

Mengapresiasi Karya Seni Rupa

Judul : Para Pejuang

Tahun : 1972

Ukuran : 100 cm x 135 cm

Media : Cat Minyak

Lukisan Affandi yang berjudul “Para Pejuang” ini dilukis menggunakan cat minyak pada tahun 1972. Lukisan yang bisa dibilang semi-abstrak ini menggambarkan semangat para pejuang Indonesia untuk meraih kemerdekaan Indonesia dengan jiwa patriotisme yang tinggi dan mengorbankan jiwa dan raga mereka untuk Indonesia. Lukisan karya Affandi ini mengandung nilai sejarah yang tinggi, dimana karya ini menceritakan semangat baja para Pejuang Indonesia dalam merebutkan kemerdekaan Indonesia di medan tempur dengan mempertaruhkan nyawa mereka.

Warna-warna yang digunakan adalah pilihan warna terang, serta keunikan goresan kuas bercat minyak pada lukisan ini menjadi satu dalam sebuah perpaduan warna dan bentuk yang sempurna dan bernilai seni serta jual yang tinggi. Dalam lukisan tersebut terlihat juga semangat para pahlawan yang membara yang digambarkan dengan perpaduan warna oranye, kuning, hitam, coklat, dan putih, yang membentuk suatu goresan seperti kobaran api. Dan dalam lukisan ini juga digambarkan adanya bambu runcing, bendera merah putih, serta ikat kepala sebagai ciri khas para pejuang bangsa Indonesia.

Lukisan Affandi ini menggambarkan seorang pengemis lewat gaya ekspresionisnya. Goresan-goresan abstrak yang mengalir menggambarkan penderitaan dan betapa rentanya pengemis tersebut. Pewarnaan coklat tua pada pengemis menampakkan ekspresi kerasnya kehidupan pengemis. Ditambah warna kuning membuat suasana semakin muram.

Pemilihan objek pengemis pada lukisan Affandi ini mengekspresikan bagaimana kehidupan masyarakat bawah baik dalam keadaan sosial maupun ekonomi. Pengemis yang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sering direpresentasikan kalangan rendah yang selalu mengandalkan belas kasihan orang lain demi kelangsungan hidupnya digambarkan memiliki kehidupan yang sengsara dan keras.

Namun Affandi juga memberikan corak-corak abstrak di luar objek pengemis yang melukiskan kegiatan orang-orang di sekitar pengemis. Corak dan warna yang kuat membuat lukisan menjadi dinamis dan semakin menekankan suasana kemuraman dan penderitaan pengemis.
